The edition, Untitled (Raven), is a picture on six tiles that is just such a playful chain of associations. It reminds us: of a box of building blocks from our childhood in which the basic forms of circle, square and triangle come into play, of concrete art or, specifically because of the harmonious choice of colors, of the marvelous decorative works of a Sonia Delaunay. And alongside of this the picture of a black raven who watches the goings-on from its bird’s eye view or perhaps, in Judith Hopf’s comment, is simply a “large gray-blue bird”. And indeed quite in the sense of Thomas Schamoni’s film of the same name from 1969, which was about developing a machine to help influence the space-time continuum so as to gain world domination.
